Former MasterChef contestant and parenting expert, Jules Allen joins Key Assets as Brand Ambassador
Key Assets proudly announces the appointment of former MasterChef contestant Jules Allen as an official brand ambassador in Australia. A parenting expert and passionate youth advocate, Jules will inspire and engage Australians to join her in caring for children and young people in need.
“Jules has fostered 31 children and speaks passionately of the care and protection of children in need. Jules is a great role model for foster carers and will help lift the profile of foster caring in Australia,” says Rob Ryan, Executive Director—Key Assets Australasia.
“We are in desperate need of more foster carers in Australia. There are more than 43,000 children in need of care and protection and this number has been increasing over the past 10 years, but the level of carers is in decline.
“We hope this partnership with Jules will give everyone a view into her fostering journey and inspire people to make a difference to lives of children in need by becoming a foster carer.”
As part of her ambassadorship role, Jules Allen will help Key Assets launch ‘A Taste of Fostering,’ a cook book which aims to bring families together through cooking, sharing stories and experiences from foster carers across Australia.
Jules Allen hopes to share her experiences as a foster carer through her love of cooking and the launch of ‘A Taste of Fostering’.
“Over the many years of fostering children, I have come to understand that food is one of the greatest healing tools. It consistently provides a sense of comfort and security for these young ones that they may not have known. It is flawless!
“I’m very excited to be partnering with Key Assets and I look forward to helping them launch ‘A Taste of Fostering’ later this year,” Ms. Allen said.
