How Key Assets Can Help
Key Assets are a ‘not for profit’ independent fostering agency. We have comprehensive experience of providing high quality care for children and young people. Each child is cared for on an individual basis. They are provided with a unique program to help them reach their full potential. This includes building their confidence, improving their education and attending to their therapeutic needs.
Supporting our foster carers is also a crucial part of the work that we do. Each carer is given comprehensive training and is fully supported. This support is available 24 hours / 365 days of the year. There is also respite care organised which gives carers a break. This essential service benefits both them and the children that are cared for.
Putting the Children First
The Agency provides a culturally sensitive service for children and young people from a range of different backgrounds. Children with challenging behaviour and emotional issues are also cared for in a professional and considerate manner.
Children that require out of home care may be confused, emotional or fearful because of the conditions that they have come from. Key Assets are committed to helping these children and young people and have a range of qualified social workers, therapists, educational officers and support workers. This allows a Team Parenting approach where the needs of the child are put first. This approach has been successful used throughout Australia and New Zealand.
