Key Assets Fostering (Queensland), part of the International organisation Core Assets Children’s Services, is a dynamic ‘not-for-profit’ specialist foster care agency which provides high quality and innovative family placements for children and young people who are seen as having ‘High and Complex needs’ for the Brisbane, South East and South West Regions of the Department of Communities. We require the following:
1x Supervising Social Worker (37.5 hrs per week)
Office Based – Eight Mile Plains.
$53,535 - $56,238 p.a. + Superannuation + car
You will be responsible for recruiting foster carers, supporting them and supervising their practice whilst providing individual help and advice. You will be a self-starter, comfortable with taking initiative, a creative problem solver and you will share your experience with a multi-disciplinary team of committed staff. The role will provide support and supervision to foster carers living in the South East, Brisbane & North Brisbane regions of the Department of Communities.

Home Based – Toowoomba Area.
$58,949 - $64,733 p.a. + Superannuation + car + Home Base Allowance
You will be responsible for recruiting foster carers, supporting them and supervising their practice whilst providing individual help and advice. You will be a self-starter, comfortable with taking initiative and working alone, a creative problem solver and you will share your experience with a multi-disciplinary team of committed staff. The role will provide support and supervision to foster carers living in the South West region of the Department of Communities. This is an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your ability to grow and develop a service.
The above candidates must be suitably qualified having obtained a relevant social work qualification and eligible for membership of the AASW and for overseas residents be eligible to work in Australia.
