Who can foster?
Could you become a foster carer in South Australia?
Key Assets Fostering is recruiting a range of foster carers who can foster a wide variety of foster children from different age groups and various ethnicities.
Many of these children will have high and complex needs as a result of trauma, abuse or neglect.
We view the foster carer as the primary agent of change in helping children and young people to overcome earlier life difficulties. As such, we are looking for people with experience in foster care, working with children or working in care, or people who feel they have the necessary skills to foster.
Some restrictions apply to who can foster with Key Assets Fostering. It is essential that:
-
You are 25 years or older (this applies to the primary foster carer).
-
You can commit to foster on a full time basis.
-
You have a spare bedroom in your home.
To find out more about who can foster with Key Assets Fostering, see our foster carer checklist below. To speak to a member of the team, call us today on (08) 8274 5900 or complete our short online enquiry form.
Or why not attend one of our forthcoming fostering information events?
