Key Assets Fostering is a not-for-profit foster care organisation in South Australia. Key Assets Fostering supports all carers fostering in Barossa with foster carer training and support services.

Children in foster care in Barossa

Many of the children are the victims of distressing circumstances. They are sometimes referred to Key Assets Fostering for concerns around emotional disturbance, mental health, disrupted attachment or education.

As a result of early life difficulties, many children placed with Barossa foster carers are likely to make considerable demands. We work in partnership with our foster carers to help all children in foster care in Barossa to achieve their full potential.

Our foster carers help us to provide children and young people in foster care with opportunities for positive growth and a brighter future.

At Key Assets Fostering, we believe that every child in foster care in Barossa has the right to grow up in a family based environment.

We appreciate that the complex needs of some of these children can be challenging for foster carers. As such, we seek to provide comprehensive foster carer support services and training courses to help our carers provide stability and care.
