“My name is Katie Sherwell and I am employed as a Recruitment & Panel Manager with Key Assets Fostering SA. I started with the agency back in May 2010 and was initially working with registered foster carers, a role I really enjoyed. I have since changed roles and now oversee recruitment, training and assessment and work closely with individuals and couples applying to be foster carers with the agency.
“Prior to commencing my role at Key Assets Fostering, I worked with Families SA for five years in various positions ranging from working directly with children and young people in long-term foster care to overseeing emergency carer services for Families SA clients to then writing practice guidance for field staff working with children and young in commercial care arrangements.
“I really enjoy working at Key Assets Fostering and hope to meet many of you very soon.”
