Have you considered a career in foster care in South Australia?
We provide specialised fostering services in the following areas of South Australia:
Become a foster carer with us and benefit from the great support and comprehensive professional training we provide to all our carers to help them make a positive and lasting difference for the children and young people in their care.
The children referred to us are between 5 and 17 years old. Many have significant emotional disturbance, mental health issues, educational concerns, disrupted attachment and are often the victims of distressing circumstances. We work with the Department of Education and Child Development to provide homes for children who have suffered some form of trauma, abuse or neglect.
We offer these children and young people a stable foster care placement with a professional support network delivered to the child and the carer in order to achieve a positive outcome from the placement.
We’re looking for people to become foster carers who are willing and committed to making a positive and lasting difference to the lives of children in foster care across South Australia.
If you’ve got experience in fostering, worked with children or young people, or if you have no previous experience but you think you may have the qualities we’re looking for, then a career in fostering could be for you.
Currently our foster care placements are for long term referrals and respite care. We’re looking to speak with anybody considering fostering who wants to find out more about this challenging and highly rewarding career.
If you think you could become a foster carer and offer a vulnerable child a safe and secure home then contact us on 1800 932 273 and speak to a friendly fostering advisor or complete the online enquiry form to register your interest.
