“I commenced working for Key Assets Fostering in November 2009, I am the Team Leader for the South West and Peel Region. Prior to joining Key Assets Fostering I worked as a Social Worker in the UK for 18 years. During this time I worked with children and young people in residential care, a semi independence unit for young people leaving care, adults with mental health issues and intellectual disabilities and as a social work manager in community care. Since coming to Australia in 2001 I have worked with children and young people with Autism, with remote Indigenous communities in Tennant Creek, NT and as a manager in community health. I am proud to be part of an organisation that has a clear focus on the needs of children and young people in care and a commitment to supporting strong dedicated foster families.”
