“After completing my degree in Counselling and Applied Psychology I gained employment as a Senior Case Worker with the Department of Child Protection. This work exposed me to many varying and challenging aspects of child protection, allowing me to gain the skills and maturity to move to Key Assets Fostering as Recruitment and Panel Officer.

“I believe that foster carers make the most profound and lifelong impact on a child in care. As such my work at Key Assets Fostering is rewarding and fulfilling, affording me the opportunity to meet with potential carers who have enquired to become foster carers. I feel privileged to meet applicants who have the desire, motivation and commitment to provide care to children and young people in need.

“My work with the recruitment team includes the completion of initial assessments and providing training to potential carers. The team at Key Assets Fostering are supportive of me as a member of staff and dedicated to providing a high level of support, training and ongoing professional development to Key Assets Fostering foster carers.”
