We’re a non-profit organisation and operate as an independent foster care and disability services provider in Western Australia.
We offer a positive contribution to out-of-home care in Western Australia and our services are designed to meet a wide range of needs, including those of children and young people with disabilities and complex histories.
Key Assets’ main office is located in Stirling and has social workers that work remotely in Mandurah, Bunbury and the East Kimberley.
We’re part of the international Core Assets Group, a leading children’s services provider with almost 20 years’ experience of supporting foster carers and children and young people in care.
We work with foster carers of various backgrounds and levels of experience to provide high quality family placements and support services for children and young people with disabilities in Western Australia.
We’re child-focused, supportive and professional. We believe in a team approach to foster care, working with our foster carers and The Department for Child Protection and Family Services to provide placements that meet the individual needs of children and young people in care.
We also work with the Disability Services Commission to offer a disability service that supports children and young people with disabilities living both at home and in alternative arrangements.
To find out more about what we do, give one of our friendly advisors a call on 1800 93 22 73 or fill in our online enquiry form.
Alternative Family Care is for children and young people who are not in foster care, but require placement with an approved carer family either on a full-time basis or as a shared care arrangement with the child’s or young person’s own family or other agency.
